Australia defeated New Zealand by eight wickets in T20 World Cup 2021 final to win men's T20 World Cup for the first time.
New Zealand put up 172/4 in their 20 overs, the highest-ever first-innings total in a T20 World Cup final. Australia chased down the target in 18.5 overs.
