Chandigarh reports total of 11,212 cases, 244 new coronavirus cases

The total number of coronavirus cases in Chandigarh have increased to 11212 after 244 new cases of COVID-19 were reported.

According to the media bulletin issued by the Chandigarh Health Department, Active cases in Chandigarh have spiked to 2390 cases.

Amongst the new cases, 141 are male cases and 103 are female cases.

Due to type 2 diabetes mellitus and hypertension complications and COVID 19, a 55 year old female, resident of Sector 56 has expired.

A total of 335 patients have been discharged including persons from home isolation who have completed 10 days and are asymptomatic as per MoHFW guidelines.
