One CISF jawan, 3 civilians killed in IED blast in Chhattisgarh

One CISF jawan and three civilians were killed on Thursday when Naxals blew up a bus with an Improvised Explosive device (IED). The blast took place in poll-bound Chhattisgarh’s Dantewada district.

The explosion took place when the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) was returning to their camp after buying groceries. During the blast, bus driver, conductor, cleaner and one CISF were killed.

The CISF unit was deployed in the area for the first time for the forthcoming polls in the state. According to the media source, assembly elections were scheduled in Chhattisgarh next week in two phases. they were scheduled from November 12 to November 20.
