Noida school shuts down over Coronavirus fear, 6 cases detected in Agra

A private school in Delhi NCR's Noida declared a three day holiday over the fear of coronavirus or CVOID 19 in the city. The announcement comes a day after two positive cases were reported each from Delhi and Telangana on Monday. The coronavirus patient from the national capital has been identified as a resident of Mayur Vihar. Meanwhile, India has reported five confirmed cases of coronavirus so far.

Delhi's coronavirus patient's son was a student of that school

Delhi's CVOID 19 patients' son was identified as a student of that private school. As per the reports, the exams have been put on hold in the school for three days. It is pertinent to mention that only one school in the district has been closed so far. The information regarding the same will be sent to the parents by the school authorities.

Surveillance team sent to the school

Meanwhile, the authorities are expected to visit the school to check for the infection and also to carry sanitation activities. Also, the parents have been advised to educate their kids about the deadly coronavirus. Likewise, people have been advised to stay calm.

Coronavirus patient organized a birthday party

Coronavirus patient had organised a birthday party last week, where his children along with other school mates were also present. The other 25 people from Noida had also attended the birthday party. Noida District Magistrate BN Singh has said that a team is looking into the matter and quarantines are being done in Delhi. Six cases detected in Agra

Six cases with high viral load have been detected during the sample testing in Agra. These are the ones who have come in contact with the COVID-19 patient from Delhi, reported yesterday. They have been kept in isolation, the government sources revealed. The samples have been sent to the National Institute of Virology for the confirmation. The contact tracing of the persons who come in contact with these six persons is also simultaneously being done through the Integrated Disease Surveillance Program (IDSP) network. -PTC News
