With 1,527 new cases, Punjab's COVID tally rises to 58,515
The total number of coronavirus cases in Punjab has increased to 58,515 after 1,527 new cases of COVID-19 were reported from the state on Thursday. According to the media bulletin issued by the Punjab Health Department on Thursday, the death toll in the state has increased to 1,690 after 73 new COVID deaths were reported.
Among new deaths, Amritsar reported 4 new fatalities, Bathinda reported 1, Faridkot 2, Fatehgarh Sahib 2, Fazilka 1, Ferozepur 5, Gurdaspur 2, Hoshiarpur 2, Jalandhar 7, Kapurthala 10, Ludhiana 18, SAS Nagar 1, Moga 5, Muktsar 1, SBS Nagar 1, Patiala 5, Ropar 3, Sangrur 2, and Tarn Taran 1.
A total of 1529 COVID patients were discharged on Thursday. The total number of recoveries in the state has increased to 41,271.
