Union Minister of Food Processing Harsimrat Kaur Badal on Saturday asked Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh to acknowledge the Centre's generosity for tackling coronavirus in the state. Meanwhile, she also listed the Centre's relief details. She took to Twitter and wrote: "Punjab received funds and grains to deal with the coronavirus crisis. I am sending you details Captain Amarinder Singh. People want to know where are the things that came from the Centre? Why is no relief being given to them? Better you first distribute relief sent to you before making out a case for more." She added that "As far as funds received by Punjab after March 20 when Coronavirus broke out, please note that the state received Rs 3,445 crore including Rs 2,366 crore on account of GST compensation and arrears, Rs 638 crore as RDG, Rs 247 crore for Disaster Management, Rs 72 crore for MNREGA and Rs 72 crore under NHM." The Centre has also sent 15 kg wheat and 3 kg pulses for 1.4 crore people which is half of the state's population. It's still lying in Punjab godowns and not reached a single household. Shouldn't you prioritise work and ensure this relief reaches the needy at the earliest?" -PTC News
