Coronavirus: 63-year-old woman dies in Rajpura, Punjab's death toll 19

A 63-year-old woman who was diagnosed with coronavirus passed away at the Rajindra Hospital in Patiala on Monday, taking the death toll in Punjab to 19. Punjab Special Chief Secretary KBS Sidhu stated that the woman was the only symptomatic and primary COVID-19 patient in Rajpura. Her funeral will take place in Rajpura later this evening, KBS Sidhu said. Patiala district has witnessed a spike of coronavirus cases in the past few weeks, taking the total number of coronavirus cases to 61 in the district. PM Modi interacts with CMs on Covid-19 situation

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday held a video-conference with all the chief ministers to discuss the current situation arising out of Covid-19 in the country which is under a 50-day lockdown from March 25 to contain the pandemic.
