Dussehra 2019: 300 bouncers to guard India’s tallest Ravana effigy in Chandigarh

At least 300 bouncers will guard the country’s tallest Ravana effigy in Chandigarh. It took 12 hours to make the 221-ft high Ravana effigy in Dhanas. The 7,000 kg, the water-proof structure is all set to be burnt on Dussehra. The effigy was erected using cranes in a night-long effort which started at 7 pm on Wednesday. It was finally up for display at 7 am on Thursday. A total of 30 workers will be deployed to guard it.
