PTC Web Desk:  Punjabi singer, actor, model and fitness influencer Karandeep has revealed that he recently suffered a heart attack in Australia, calling it the most life-changing experience of his life. The 32-year-old singer shared an emotional video on social media, saying he narrowly escaped death and wants others to learn from his experience.

Originally from Rupnagar (Ropar), Punjab, Karandeep has been living in Australia. In his Instagram video, he recalled the terrifying incident and said May 19 could have been the last day of his life had his friends not been by his side.

'My friends saved my life'

Karandeep said he survived only because four of his friends acted quickly when he collapsed. He described the incident as a second chance at life and expressed gratitude to those who came to his rescue. According to him, if they had not been present at the right time, he might not have survived.

Fitness does not guarantee good health

Despite maintaining a healthy lifestyle, Karan said the incident came as a complete shock. He explained that he exercises regularly, follows a disciplined diet and has always taken fitness seriously. Yet, he still suffered a severe medical emergency. Using his own experience as an example, he urged young people not to assume that being physically fit eliminates the risk of heart-related illnesses.

"Even if you go to the gym every day and eat healthy, don't skip regular medical check-ups. You never know when a serious health problem can occur," he said.

A message for young people

Karan encouraged people to undergo routine health screenings, saying that conditions such as heart attacks, strokes and sudden drops in blood sugar can affect anyone, regardless of age or fitness level. He said the incident reminded him that life is unpredictable and that health should never be taken for granted.

'Stay close to your family'

Reflecting on his recovery, Karan also shared an emotional message about the importance of family and relationships. He urged people to spend time with their parents, value their siblings and appreciate loved ones while they have the chance.

According to him, wealth, luxury and material possessions lose all meaning in the face of a life-threatening situation.

Calling his survival a "new life," Karan Deep said he now hopes to use his platform to spread awareness about preventive healthcare and encourage young people to undergo timely medical check-ups.
