Ranveer Singh steals the show at NMACC gala with Dhurandhar: The Revenge dialogues

Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani hosted the third anniversary gala of the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC) on April 3, drawing several prominent names from the film industry. The star-studded evening witnessed a strong turnout of celebrities, adding glamour and scale to the celebrations.

However, it was Ranveer Singh who emerged as the highlight of the night. The actor entertained guests by reprising popular dialogues from his recent hit film Dhurandhar: The Revenge, capturing widespread attention.

In a video circulating on social media, Ranveer is seen recreating Akshaye Khanna’s viral scene from the film, delivering the line “Assalamualaikum Lyari,” originally set during a political rally sequence. He also performed another widely discussed dialogue, “Ghar ki yaad nahi aayi tujhe, Jassi?”, delivered by Udaybir Sandhu in the film, which has since gained traction as meme content online.

Directed by Aditya Dhar, Dhurandhar is a two-part spy thriller franchise led by Ranveer Singh. The film features an ensemble cast including Arjun Rampal, R. Madhavan, Sanjay Dutt, Danish Pandor, Rakesh Bedi and Sara Arjun.

The sequel, Dhurandhar 2, has performed strongly at the global box office, crossing the ₹1000 crore mark within its first week. It also recorded over ₹100 crore net earnings in its opening weekend, maintaining momentum into its third week.

Meanwhile, the first installment of the franchise has collected ₹1300 crore worldwide and continues to run in theatres three months after its release in December, underscoring the sustained popularity of the series.
