'Not Pregnant': Poonam Pandey reveals 'pregnancy bump' is just April Fool's Prank
Actor-model Poonam Pandey has finally addressed the widespread speculation surrounding her recent baby bump photos, confirming that she is 'not pregnant' and that the photo was all part of April Fool’s prank.
The controversy began when she shared pictures on social media on March 31, where she appeared to flaunt a baby bump. The post quickly went viral, leaving fans confused and curious, with many wondering whether she was actually expecting or if it was another attention-grabbing move.
Putting all rumours to rest, Poonam shared a video message the following day, clarifying that the pregnancy claim was not real. She thanked her followers for their wishes but explained that it was all part of a prank meant for April Fool’s Day.

She said, "Mera Haq Hai yaar, entertain karne ka" she stated that she wanted to entertain people during stressful times and bring some light-heartedness to the situation. Referring to the tense global atmosphere, she mentioned that with so much seriousness around, she thought of doing something fun to make people smile. She also added that as someone known for surprising her audience, she felt it was her way of keeping things lively and unexpected.
The prank, however, received mixed reactions online. While some users said they had anticipated it and took it in good humour, others criticised the move and felt it was unnecessary.
