A woman from Colombia, reportedly missing for over two years, found floating alive in the sea, 1.5 km from the shore.
As per the reports, the woman had not been seen by her daughters for over two years.
On September 26, a fisherman, identified as Rolando Visbal, spotted the 46-year-old woman floating around 1.5 km away from the beaches of Puerto Colombia.
The fisherman immediately swung into action and managed to pull her from the sea.
The 46-year-old woman has been identified as Angelica Gaitan. She was reportedly trying to take her own life when Visbal spotted her. A video is making rounds on the Internet in which Visbal and his friend can be seen pulling Gaitan into their boat.
Angelica appeared to be unresponsive after spending over eight hours at the sea.
The men gave her drinking water before taking her to the shore. The woman walked barely with the support of two men before sitting on a chair.

Later, the woman was taken to a hospital where she showed symptoms of hypothermia. The woman disclosed that she had been cut off from her family, friends, and by her abusive ex-husband.
The woman also claimed that her ex-husband had locked her inside the home and even forced her to use the garden as a toilet.
In 2018, the woman managed to run away from her husband. She was living on the streets for six months. Following a major struggle, she found a place to stay at a rescue centre. However, she reportedly suffered more abuse at the shelter.
Therefore, she decided to take the extreme step of taking her own life when the police made her leave the shelter. Shockingly, she doesn't remember at all about being in the water until she was rescued by the fishermen.
