Miscreants loot computers from school in Patiala village

Security took a back seat in a government elementary school in Sher Majra village in Patiala on Friday. With the absence of security, the robbery was a cakewalk for the miscreants who looted five computers from this school.

Besides 5 computers, miscreants also looted, 5 CPUs, 1 laptop with charger, 3 monitors, Web cameras and CCTV cameras on Thursday night.

According to the principal of the school, the incident came into light when a peon entered the computer room to clean. The school authorities have lodged a complaint at a police station.

The principal further told that this was not the first time when miscreants looted something from the school. Earlier they looted the grocery items from the school. Even after that, the school was not provided with a security guard.
