Mumbai: Prince Charles celebrates 71st birthday with school children

The Prince of Wales, Prince Charles celebrated his 71st birthday with school children in Mumbai on Thursday. The British royal is on a three-day visit to India. On Wednesday, he paid obeisance in Gurdwara Bangla Sahib, New Delhi, where he was welcomed by Delhi Sikh Gurudwara Management Committee (DSGMC) president Manjinder Singh Sirsa.

His visit focuses on the relationship and challenges faced by India and United Kingdom, including sustainable development and climate change. This is his 10th official visit to India. Prince Charles’s itinerary includes a meeting with President Ram Nath Kovind.

On Wednesday, he visited the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) at Mausam Bhawan in Delhi and interacted with officials. He left in a battery-operated rickshaw.
