Massive explosion reported in Haryanas Yamunagar as gas cylinder explodes, children among 10 injured

PTC News Desk: A massive explosion was reported in Salempur village of the Vyaspur area in Yamunanagar on Wednesday morning after a gas cylinder exploded while being replaced at a factory, leaving more than 10 people injured including children.
According to information, workers at the factory were changing the cylinder when it suddenly exploded, triggering panic among the nearby areas.
All ten victims were seriously injured and were immediately taken to the Civil Hospital in Jagadhri, where they are currently undergoing treatment. Some critically injured people were referred to PGI, Chandigarh. All the injured are reported to belong to migrant families.
Soon after receiving the information, police and administrative teams reached the spot, and an investigation into the incident has been launched.
Preliminary investigation suggests negligence while handling the cylinders as suspected cause behind the accident.
