PTC Web Desk: A SpiceJet Bombardier Q400 aircraft faced a mid-air scare on Friday when one of its outer wheels detached during takeoff from Kandla airport. The flight, carrying 75 passengers, was bound for Mumbai when the snag occurred.

Despite the technical issue early in departure, the aircraft continued its scheduled journey. After a full emergency was declared at the Mumbai airport, the plane landed safely. Following the touchdown, the aircraft taxied to the terminal without assistance, and all passengers disembarked normally. The missing wheel was later found on the runway at Kandla. No injuries were reported, and SpiceJet confirmed that all safety protocols were followed during the incident.
