Victory of democracy: Sonam Wangchuks first reaction over Dharmendra Pradhans resignation
Wangchuk in his first reaction called the Education Minister's resignation as victory of peace, patience and perseverance.
PTC News Desk: Social activist Sonam Wangchuk in his first reaction, called Dharmendra Pradhan's resignation as 'victory of democracy'. In a social media post Wangchuk said that it's a victory of peace, patience and perseverance.
He also congratulated all the CJP members and Gen Z protesters who have been leading the demonstration for over a month now, and thanked citizens for "shedding fear...and rising up from every corner of the nation."

In a post on X, Wangchuk shared a picture from hospital bed, showing 'V' sign, depicting victory.
"IT'S A VICTORY OF DEMOCRACY direct democracy... straight from the streets. It's a victory of peace, patience & persévérance. Congratulations CJP, Gen Z of the nation and thank you all citizens for shedding fear and the fear of fear and rising up from every corner of the nation," Sonam Wangchuk said in a post.
'FROM ACCOUNTABILITY, NOW TO REFORMS,' the post further added.
Wangchuk further said that since the resignation demand has been accepted, the conversation will now move forward to 'reforms'.

Dharmendra Pradhan resigns
Pradhan's resignation was the main demand of the protesters camping at Delhi's Jantar Mantar for over a month.
The talks between the CJP and the Centre were deadlocked over the demand for Pradhan's resignation. On Saturday morning, the CJP had made it clear that there can be no discussions if government refuses to sack Dharmendra Pradhan.
According to the sources, Pradhan resigned on moral grounds taking responsibility also suggesting that the government was on keen on giving him a dignified exit.
Pradhan, who had come under flak over a spate of exam paper leaks, made it clear at the outset that stepping down was "not a matter of personal prestige". The NEET-UG paper leak in May seemingly became the final nail in the coffin for Pradhan.
"The developments of the past ten days have saddened me deeply. This is not a matter of personal prestige for me," he said. In the next sentence, he stressed, "India's youth are the country's real strength."
