Child taken to Delhi, later shifted to Rohtak
Following the attack, the baby was taken to Delhi for treatment with help from neighbours. However, according to the family, the cost of continued treatment became difficult to manage. The child was subsequently brought to PGI Rohtak, where treatment is currently continuing. His aunt is also receiving treatment in Rohtak.
The family is now seeking financial assistance for the baby's further treatment and has urged that responsibility for the incident be fixed.
The family claimed that the neighbouring house has two pet dogs and alleged that proper precautions were not in place to prevent them from getting out.
They said the incident happened suddenly when the gate opened, allowing the dog to reach the street and attack the child and his aunt.
CCTV footage of the incident has also surfaced. The footage reportedly shows the dog coming out of the house and attacking the child and his aunt.
Further investigations are underway.
