NDA's show of strength at Amit Shah’s ‘thanksgiving’ dinner ahead of the announcement of the results of the Lok Sabha elections

Former Chief Minister Prakash Singh Badal, SAD President Sukhbir Singh Badal, JD(U) president and Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, Ram Vilas Paswan of the Lok Janshakti Party, Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray, besides other NDA allies & senior BJP leadership attended BJP president Amit Shah’s ‘thanksgiving’ dinner on Tuesday in Delhi, two days ahead of the announcement of the results of the Lok Sabha elections.

On the back of exit polls forecasting a return of the Narendra Modi government, the NDA also expressed its confidence that it will emerge victorious.

Ahead of the dinner, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Amit Shah met the Union council of ministers at the BJP headquarters in New Delhi to “thank them for their service to the nation” during last five years.

“I congratulate Team Modi Sarkar for their hard work and remarkable achievements in the last 5 years. Let us keep this momentum going for a New India under the leadership of PM @narendramodi,” Shah tweeted shortly after the meeting.
