Notably bothe Naseeb Kaur and her husband were unaware of winning lottery and the seller Raju, from nearby Sadiq town, discovered the winning ticket on December 6 and tried calling Ram Singh repeatedly. Ram Singh, who was in Rajasthan at the time, did not answer the calls for nearly a day.
Raju said that Ram Singh had been buying the ticket of Rs 50 for the past two years but never tried costlier one as he was barely able to meet daily expenses. It was after Raju's persuation, he bought a ticket of Rs 200 in his wife's name, who won the lottery.
