Justice Sant Prakash assumes charge as Chairman of Punjab State Human Rights Commission

Chandigarh, March 31: Justice Sant Prakash assumes charge as the Chairman of the Punjab and UT Chandigarh state Human Rights Commission today at the Commission's office in Sector 34, Chandigarh.

Speaking on the occasion, Justice Sant Prakash stated that his priority would be to follow the objectives of the Human Rights Act. He assured the public that he would make every effort to ensure justice under the provisions of this act and find appropriate solutions to people's problems. He also pledged to fulfill his responsibility with full diligence and honesty.


On this occasion, Punjab State Human Rights Commission Secretary, Mr. Varinder Kumar, Special DGP Mr. Prabodh Kumar, AIG Mr. Naveen Saini, and Special Secretary Mr. Devi Das Sharma, DCFA, Mr Alok Prabhakar and Superintendent, Mr Baldev Singh were specially present.
