Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann shows strong recovery set to resume duties soon
CM Mann was hospitalised last week after experiencing exhaustion, low heart rate, viral fever, digestive issues, and fluctuating BP
PTC Web Desk: Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, who was admitted to Fortis Hospital, Mohali late last week, is now showing significant progress in his recovery. Doctors report that his vital signs are stable, and he has been actively participating in meetings from his hospital bed.
CM Mann was hospitalised Friday evening after experiencing exhaustion, low heart rate, viral fever, digestive issues, and fluctuating blood pressure. Initial treatment began at home, but his condition did not improve, prompting admission to the hospital.
Upon arrival at Fortis, his vitals were assessed and have since stabilised. His pulse rate and overall physical condition have improved, and he is currently under close observation.
The Punjab Cabinet meeting, scheduled for Friday to review flood relief operations, was postponed in light of the CM’s hospitalisation. However, he chaired the meeting from the hospital today.
Haryana CM Nayab Singh Saini also visited CM Mann at Fortis Hospital on Monday, offering his well-wishes and affirming Haryana's support amid the floods. The two leaders also discussed the ongoing flood response during their interaction.
