Mohali CBI court declares Thakur Dalip Singh proclaimed offender in 2015 car bomb blast case
PTC News Desk: Mohali CBI court on Friday declared Thakur Dalip Singh a proclaimed offender after he failed to appear before the court in 2015 car bomb blast case.
An FIR was filed about a car bomb blast that happened on December 4, 2015. During the investigation, the accused, Thakur Dalip Singh, could not be arrested as he had reportedly fled abroad. Non-bailable warrants were issued against him on May 13, 2021, but they could not be carried out because he was not in India.
After that, the CBI issued a Look-Out Circular (LOC) against him on June 11, 2021, and kept renewing it. A chargesheet was filed on December 31, 2022, even though he was not present. Later, Interpol issued a Red Corner Notice against him on December 4, 2023. However, his exact location is still unknown.
Separate cases were registered against him at three police stations in Ludhiana. His name came up in the murder of Mata Chand Kaur, a conspiracy to attack Satguru Uday Singh and Jagtar Singh (Mata Chand Kaur’s son-in-law), and in the murder
