Punjab CM mourns passing away of Punjab Governor's elder brother

Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh on Tuesday expressed profound grief over the demise of Raghuraj Singh Badnore (82), the elder brother of the State Governor VP Singh Badnore.

The Chief Minister has deputed his cabinet colleague, Minister of Forests and Social Welfare Sadhu Singh Dharamsot to attend the funeral, tomorrow, of Raghuraj Singh, who passed away in Jaipur after a brief illness this morning.

In his condolence message, the Chief Minister described Raghuraj Singh Badnore as an eminent academician, a noted sportsman and, above all, a fine human being with a strong moral and social commitment.

Captain Amarinder extended to his heartfelt sympathies to the members of the bereaved family, friends and relatives, and prayed to the Almighty for peace for the departed soul.
