Punjab: Protesting teachers, marching towards CM residence in Kharar, lathicharged

Mohali: Protesting unemployed teachers, marching towards Punjab Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi's residence, were lathi charged in Kharar, Mohali, on Friday. The members of the ETT TET Qualified Unemployed Teachers Union, Punjab, have been protesting for a long time in support of their demands. The unemployed teachers, who have been protesting at Desu Majra in Mohali, broke a few barricades placed on their way. However, they were stopped by the police. Several protesters were severely injured during the lathi charge.
