Punjabi music director, composer Surinder Bachan dead

Punjabi music director and composer Surinder Bachan died of a heart attack on Tuesday. He had recently completed his special programme on songwriter Surinder Kaur in Mohali. Surinder Bachan's death was first confirmed by Tejwant Kittu.

Surinder Bachan has over 16,000 songs to his credit. He would be fondly remembered as 'Music Machine'.

He worked in collaboration with several megastars from Punjab, including Surinder Kaur, Surjit Bindrakhia, Babbu Mann, Kamal Heer and Manmohan Waris.  He began his musical journey in 1989 and started singing at the young age of 14. His hard work helped him gain both name and fame.
