Sidhu Moosewala song released: Exactly five months after the release of slain Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala’s record-breaking track Barota, his team on Monday night unveiled his 13th posthumous song, Eyes On Me, on social media. Barota, which came out on November 28 last year, has become the second most-commented video globally on YouTube, crossing 10 million comments.

At the end of the new track, it was also revealed that Moosewala’s clothing brand will be launched soon. The teaser, released three days earlier, received 1.4 million likes on Instagram and 3.1 million views on YouTube.

The YouTube premiere of Eyes On Me drew nearly 1.6 lakh live viewers. Within minutes of its release, the song gained several lakh views and quickly started trending online.

The 2-minute-50-second video features intense visuals, including masked and armed men, a G-Wagon driving through rain, and a leopard. It also portrays violent scenes, such as a blast outside a court complex in Bathinda and armed individuals, possibly reflecting past attempts on his life.

The song carries hard-hitting lyrics centred on violence, fear, and betrayal, with lines like “Tenu kise nu nahi bachauna, sun le meri gall” and “Chamber vich goli rakh, mahol kharaab hai.” It also includes references such as “Death da messenger WhatsApp ban janda hai,” depicting a tense and threatening environment. One line describes Moosewala as “death for antis,” reinforcing his larger-than-life image, along with mentions of weapons, explosives, and the need for bulletproof protection.

The video ends on an emotional note, showing Moosewala leaving his ‘haveli’ in a jeep, while his father Balkaur Singh waves goodbye.

Moosewala, a resident of Moosa village in Mansa district, was shot dead in Jawaharke village on May 29, 2022, at the age of 28. He had also contested the 2022 Assembly elections from Mansa on a Indian National Congress ticket but was unsuccessful.

His hologram-based global tour, titled Signed to God World Tour, is expected to begin soon. The tour will use 3D projection technology to recreate his stage presence and is planned across eight countries, including India, Pakistan, the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, the United Arab Emirates, Australia, and New Zealand.
