Virat Kohli, Anushka Sharma seek blessings of Premanand Maharaj in Vrindavan after RCB’s IPL 2026 win
PTC Web Desk: Star cricketer Virat Kohli and his wife, actor Anushka Sharma, visited spiritual leader Premanand Maharaj in Vrindavan on Tuesday morning after Royal Challengers Bengaluru’s IPL title win.
The couple reached Kelly Kunj Ashram around 7 am. Wearing face masks, they quietly entered the ashram barefoot and were welcomed by disciples of Premanand Maharaj.
Virat and Anushka stayed at the ashram for nearly two hours. When Kohli came out, he was seen wearing chandan and tripund on his forehead. He was also carrying a book gifted at the ashram.
After meeting Premanand Maharaj, the couple walked around 150 metre to visit the ashram of senior saint Shri Hit Govind Sharan Maharaj and sought his blessings as well.
This is not the first time the couple has visited Vrindavan. Earlier this year, on April 20 during Akshaya Tritiya, they had attended satsang and met Premanand Maharaj. They had also visited the ashram in February after celebrating their son Akaay’s birthday.
Virat and Anushka have now met Premanand Maharaj seven times since their first visit on January 4, 2023. Over the past three years, the couple has often been seen visiting Vrindavan for spiritual guidance and blessings.
Meanwhile, Kohli played a major role in RCB’s successful IPL 2026 campaign. Royal Challengers Bengaluru lifted their second consecutive IPL trophy on May 31 after defeating Gujarat Titans by five wickets in the final at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
Kohli was named Player of the Match in the final after smashing the fastest fifty of his IPL career. The batting star also continued his impressive consistency, scoring 675 runs in the season and crossing the 600-run mark for the fourth straight year.
