PTC News Desk: Another shooting incident has been reported in Brampton, Canada targeting Indian restaurant.

A purported social media post claiming responsibility for the shooting outside a restaurant in Brampton has gone viral. The involvement of the Rohit Godara–Goldy Brar gang is suspected in the incident.

According to a message circulating on social media, a person identifying himself as “Raja Pehalwan” claimed responsibility, along with an associate, for the firing outside the Dal Roti restaurant.

The post stated that the shooting was meant to serve as a warning to the restaurant owner. It alleged that the owner had failed to pay wages owed to several students who had worked at the restaurant.

The message further claimed that efforts had been made to settle the issue through discussions, but no action was taken by the owner. Based on these allegations, the attack appeared to be an attempt to pressure or intimidate the restaurant owner rather than a random act of violence.

The post also warned other individuals who were allegedly avoiding contact with the group, suggesting they could face consequences if they continued to ignore its calls.

However, the claims made in the social media post have not been independently verified, and investigators are examining the authenticity of the message as part of the ongoing probe into the firing incident.
