PTC Web Desk: Major Singh, described as a key operative of the Jaggu Bhagwanpuria gang, has been added to the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s (FBI) most wanted list in the United States.

According to an FBI release, Major Singh is wanted for his alleged involvement in an international organised crime group and a series of federal offences linked to racketeering, illegal firearms trafficking and controlled substances.

Major Singh faces multiple federal charges

US authorities are seeking Major Singh over allegations that he was involved in a conspiracy to participate in a Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organisations (RICO) enterprise.

He is also accused of conspiring to engage in the business of dealing in firearms without a licence, conspiring to distribute controlled substances and possessing controlled substances with the intent to distribute them.

The Jaggu Bhagwanpuria organised crime group originated in Punjab, India, and has allegedly operated in the Central District of California and other locations.

Major Singh is the latest Indian national linked to organised crime networks to be featured by US authorities.
