Pakistan: Sikh caretaker couple shot dead in firing inside gurdwara in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
The motive behind the attack has not been established yet, however efforts are underway to arrest those behind the killing, according to police.
PTC News Desk: A Sikh caretaker couple was shot dead in a major firing incident at a gurdwara in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan on Wednesday, June 17.
The incident occurred in Babu Mohallah locality of Mardan, about 60 km northwest of Peshawar.
The deceased have been identified as Jagannath and his wife Asma Wanti.
Mardan District Police Officer Masood Ahmed said that assailants opened fire in the gurdwara in Babu Mohallah, resulting in the death of two people.
