Avtar Singh Junior (MLA, Jalandhar North)
Punjab Assembly elections 2022: Jalandhar North MLA Avtar Singh Junior was born on January 22, 1979. He is an Indian politician and a member of INC. In 2017, Avtar Singh Junior was elected as the member of the Punjab Legislative Assembly from Jalandhar North. He won the Jalandhar North on an INC ticket by defeating the member of KD Bhandari of the BJP by over 32291 votes. He was elected to the Punjab Vidhan Sabha for the first time in 2017. He is the son of Former Minister, Punjab Avtar Henry. He also served as the Member Improvement Trust, Jalandhar (2004); Secretary Punjab Youth Congress (2005); General Secretary Punjab Youth Congress (2009); Member of Committee on Subordinate Legislation of Punjab Vidhan Sabha (2017-18).
