Immigration company owner among 3 arrested by Chandigarh crime branch, cash and weapons seized
PTC News Desk: Chandigarh crime branch on Saturday arrested three accused including owner of the immigration company. The police have also seized 2 pistols and 7 cartridges.
An FIR has been registered under section 25/54/59 of Arms Act.
The accused have been identified as Arvinder Singh alias Nannu, resident of Manimajra Pipliwala Town, Mantu, resident of Bhakarpur Village in Mohali and Pawan, a resident of Indira Colony.
The police investigation also suggests that the accused have visited jail multiple times to meet gangster Kali.
The arrests were made following credible inputs about presence of accused Pawan in the area who was also carrying cartridges. He was later arrested by the crime branch near Tech Mahindra road in IT Park. Several weapons were recovered from him.
