Dr Daljit Singh Cheema
Punjab Assembly elections 2022: Shiromani Akali Dal's Dr Daljit Singh Cheema contested from the Rupnagar constituency in Punjab Assembly Elections 2022. However, he lost the elections has he bagged only 22,338 votes.
Earlier, he served as the Education Minister in the Punjab government and secretary and spokesman to Shiromani Akali Dal. He also served as the Party's Advisor to Chief Minister, Punjab in 2007-2012.
