‘Bambai Meri Jaan’: Farhan Akhtar unveils first poster of the web series
‘Bambai Meri Jaan’: Farhan Akhtar revealed the first poster for his new web series 'Bambai Meri Jaan' on Tuesday.
Farhan released the poster on Instagram with the caption, "A tale from the mean streets of Bambai! #BambaiMeriJaanOnPrime, new series, coming soon."
The interesting poster showed a person standing with their back to the camera lens and a burning building in front of him.
The 10-part series will be available exclusively on Amazon Prime Video.
'Bambai Meri Jaan' is produced by Excel Media and Entertainment's Ritesh Sidhwani, Kassim Jagmagia, and Farhan Akhtar, with a script by S Hussain Zaidi and directed by Shujaat Saudagar.
The binge-worthy, fast-paced crime thriller stars a diverse and skilled ensemble that includes Kay Kay Menon, Avinash Tiwary, Kritika Kamra, and Nivedita Bhattacharya, as well as Amyra Dastur.
The series' official release date is yet unknown.
Fans filled the comment section with red hearts and fire emoticons when Farhan uploaded the poster for 'Bambai Meri Jaan'.
“Can't wait,” a fan wrote, another added, “Excited to watch Kay Kay Menon.”
In terms of Farhan's other projects, he will next film 'Jee Le Zaraa,' a road trip film starring Alia Bhatt, Priyanka Chopra, and Katrina Kaif.
The film's official release date is yet unknown.
Aside from that, he has an action thriller film titled 'Don 3' in which Ranveer Singh plays the lead. The film will be released in theatres in 2025.
