'Gadar 2' sets new record with highest second weekend box office collection for Hindi film ever
PTC Web Desk: 'Gadar 2' has achieved a historic milestone by registering highest second weekend box office collection for a Hindi flm ever.
The Sunny Deol-starrer amassed a remarkable sum of Rs 90.47 crore during its second weekend (Friday to Sunday), shattering previous records. 'Baahubali 2's' Hindi version had garnered Rs 80.75 crore in its second weekend, while 'Dangal' had secured Rs 73.7 crore during its second weekend.
'Gadar 2' has achieved an impressive cumulative of Rs 375.10 crore at the Indian box office in just 10 days. In terms of gross collections, it has reached Rs 442.61 crore gross domestically. The overseas gross has amounted to Rs 37 crore, a commendable figure considering the limited international buzz. When consolidating the gross numbers, the film has soared to a remarkable Rs 479.61 crore gross in total worldwide earnings.

The movie has also overtaken the gross earnings of notable films such as 'Brahmastra' (Rs 430.24 crore), 'Andhadhun' (Rs 453.80 crore), and 'War' (Rs 466.82 crore). The imminent major objective is to surpass 'Sanju' record of Rs 541.76 crore gross, a feat expected to be accomplished within the upcoming days.
As the film is on track to breach the Rs 500-crore mark today or tomorrow, the attention now shifts to whether the Sunny Deol-starrer can attain the remarkable milestone of Rs 600 crore in gross collections!
