'OMG 2' official teaser out now: Akshay Kumar-starrer film set to hit theatres on Aug 11
'OMG 2': The official teaser for 'OMG: 2' starring Akshay Kumar and Pankaj Tripathi is now out.
The official teaser for the upcoming drama film 'OMG 2' was released on Tuesday.
Akshay Kumar uploaded the teaser on Instagram, captioning it, "Rakh vishwas #OMG2Teaser out now. #OMG2 in theatres on August 11."
The film, directed by Amit Rai and starring Akshay Kumar, Pankaj Tripathi, and Yami Gautam, is due to hit theatres on August 11.
Pankaj could be seen in the teaser as Kanti Sharan Mudgal, who worships Lord Shiva with zeal, while Akshay could be seen as Lord Shiva, who comes to save Kanti's family after they face a major tragedy.
In the film, Yami Gautam plays the role of a lawyer.
Fans swarmed the comment section with red hearts and fire emoticons shortly after the teaser was released.
Tiger Shroff commented, "Guru Jii."
"Har Har Mahadev," one user commented.
"Goosebumps," another individual commented.
'OMG 2' will compete with Sunny Deol's upcoming action film 'Gadar 2' in a major Bollywood showdown.
'OMG 2' is a sequel to 'OMG: Oh my God,' which starred Paresh Rawal and Akshay Kumar. Akshay played the role of Lord Krishna in the original film.
Aside from that, he has the yet-to-be-titled Hindi version of 'Soorarai Pottru,' which is planned to be released in theatres on February 16, 2024. Radhika Madan and Paresh Rawal also play important parts in the film.
He will also appear alongside Tiger Shroff in the action thriller 'Bade Miyan Chote Miyan,' which is expected to be released in theatres on Eid 2024.
