Punjab based actor Pari Pandher reveals her experience as Dhurandhar 2 set to cross Rs 1000 Crore
The film Dhurandhar, directed by Aditya Dhar and starring Ranveer Singh, has smashed several box office records. The movie is on track to cross the 1000 crore mark in just six days, making it one of the biggest hits in recent times.
While the film continues to dominate headlines, many of the actors are expressing gratitude to Aditya Dhar for believing in them. One standout name is Punjabi actor Pari Pandher, also known as Parveer Kaur Pandher, who plays Jasleen, the younger sister of Ranveer Singh’s character, Jaskirat Singh Rangi.
Pari Pandher shared her excitement on Instagram, reflecting on the experience of being part of a film that the entire nation is talking about.
"Portraying this character in Dhurandhar was a deeply enriching experience for me. In one particular scene, I was shown as a 30 woman, quietly going about a moment on the terrace while drying clothes. Achieving the right look for this phase of the character required a lot of experimentation different hairstyles were tried, but initially, the age didn’t reflect convincingly.
It was only after adding subtle details like wrinkles, dark circles, and finally white hair that the transformation truly came together. That moment of seeing the complete look felt incredibly satisfying, and I genuinely fell in love with the depth of this characterization.
As an actor, I aspire to take on more roles like this,where the character is layered, emotionally rich, and allows me to fully immerse myself in the journey".
In another heartfelt post, Pari revealed how surreal it felt when she first got the call from Aditya Dhar to join the film.
"When Aditya Dhar sir’s team @b62studios call came for Dhurandhar, the first thing he asked was, How many cars should we send for you and where should we send them? That moment itself felt unreal. I was sitting with my mentor cum brother, @buntybains, and the excitement between us was on another level. Honestly, we were so thrilled that instead of waiting for the cars, we decided to jump into our own car and drive straight to the shoot location ourselves. Every second of that drive felt special, full of gratitude, dreams, and pure happiness.
Some journeys are not just about reaching the set, they are about feeling that you truly belong there. That day, I felt it in my heart that something beautiful was beginning. Forever grateful for moments like these."
