Finally, BRTS project inaugurated in Amritsar After skipping several deadlines, Punjab’s first 600-crore bus rapid transit system (BRTS) was inaugurated in Amritsar. Punjab's Local Body Minister Navjot Singh Sidhu inaugurated the BRTS project in Amritsar on Monday. The buses will run  from the railway station to Attari bypass, railway station to Golden Gate via bus terminal and to Verka town.
