Harpartap Singh (MLA-Ajnala)
Punjab Assembly elections 2022: Indian politician Harpartap Singh is a member of the Indian National Congress(INC). He was born on August 7, 1951, in the Village Dhaul Kalan Distt. Amritsar. Harpartap Singh is an MLA from Ajnala.
He was elected as the Member of the Punjab Legislative Assem
bly from Ajnala. He won the seat as a candidate of the INC, beating the incumbent member of the Punjab Legislative Assembly Amarpal Singh Ajnala of the SAD by 18,713 votes.
Ajnala MLA Harpartap Singh was elected to the Punjab Vidhan Sabha for the first time through the bye-election in 2005 and again in 2017.
He remained Vice President District Youth Congress Committee Amritsar Rural; General Secretary of District Congress Committee, Amritsar Rural; General Secretary Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee & Vice President Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee.
He also served as the Chairman of the Committee on Local Bodies and Panchayati Raj Institutions Of Punjab Vidhan Sabha (2018-19).
