Haryana to hold board exams for classes 5 and 8

Mohali, January 20 :Following Punjab and Rajasthan, Haryana will also hold board examinations will for class 5 and 8. With this order issued by the state government on January 18, 2022, students of 5th and 8th standard studying in government and private schools of the state affiliated to Haryana School Education Board (BSEH) will now be evaluated by the board examination.

Information about the decision of Haryana government to organize board examinations for 5th and 8th classes also was shared by the Minister of Education in the state government, Chaudhary Kanwar Pal on Wednesday.

The Education Minister said, "Taking important decisions in the field of education, the Haryana government has implemented 5th and 8th board examinations in the state. This historic decision will lead to a high level improvement in the education system. "

According to the notification issued by the School Education Department of the Government of Haryana, “At the end of each academic session in the government and recognized private schools of the state, Class V and VIII will conduct regular examinations or any other one specializing in conducting such examinations. "


As per the notification of the Haryana School Education Department, results will be announced within one month of conducting board examinations for classes V and VIII and certificates will also be issued to the students.
