Srinagar (Jammu and Kashmir), April 10: Two Pakistani terrorists who were involved in an attack on the CRPF personnel were neutralised in an encounter in Jammu and Kashmir's Srinagar on Sunday. The police recovered arms, ammunition and other incriminating materials from them, said the Inspector General of Police. "Two Pakistani terrorists who were involved in a recent terror attack on CRPF personnel were neutralised in Srinagar Encounter. Arms and ammunition, other incriminating materials recovered: IGP Kashmir," read a tweet by Kashmir police. Two Pakistani terrorists killed in encounter The encounter broke out between the security forces and terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir's Srinagar on Sunday morning. The police have yet to identify the slain militants, but were Pakistanis, according to the police. Two Pakistani terrorists killed in encounter After receiving information about the presence of terrorists in the Bishamber Nagar-Dalgate neighbourhood of Srinagar, a joint team of J-K Police and CRPF roped off the area on Sunday morning. The terrorists hiding inside began to fire and tried to break the security cordon as the joint security team was zeroing in on the house. The combined effort returned fire, resulting in a clash. Two Pakistani terrorists killed in encounter The militants, according to the authorities, were behind the attack on the CRPF on Tuesday. In Srinagar's Maisuma neighbourhood, militants shot a CRPF soldier from point-blank range, killing him and injuring another.
