Punjab Assembly Elections 2022: Jalalabad constituency is located in the Fazilka district of Punjab. It is one of the 117 seats of Punjab Vidhan Sabha. Shiromani Akali Dal's Sukhbir Singh Badal won the last assembly elections and is the current MLA of Jalalabad. He won the 2017 elections by defeating Aam Aadmi Party's Bhagwant Mann with a margin of 18,500 votes. Voters According to the voter list for the 2017 assembly elections, the total number of voters in the constituency is 1,93,912. 231 polling stations were established by the election commission during these elections. A total of 1,68,522 votes were cast in the Jalalabad constituency and the percentage was 86.91%, which was recorded higher than the state average. Candidates Shiromani Akali Dal's Sukhbir Singh Badal, Aam Aadmi Party's Bhagwant Mann and Congress' Ravneet Singh Bittu were MLA candidates for the Jalalabad constituency in the 2017 Punjab assembly elections. Sukhbir Singh Badal (SAD) grabbed 75,271 votes, while Bhagwant Mann (AAP) got 56,771 votes. Ravneet Singh Bittu (Congress) managed to get 31,539 votes.
