Ludhiana court blast victim identified, belongs to Khanna in Punjab

In a major breakthrough in the Ludhiana District Court bomb blast case, the man who died in the explosion has been identified as Gaganpreet Singh, a resident of Khanna, Punjab, say sources. He was a former head constable and was dismissed from the service in 2019. He also remained in jail for two years and was released in the month of September. Gagandeep Singh had "drug links". He was tracked through SIM and dongel, though his face and body were disfigured. His family has also identified the body. The police and the district administration authorities are likely to hold a press conference in this regard on December 25. Two courtrooms are located near the toilet. According to the sources, the middle section of the man's body who died in the blast was completely blown away, which was why it was being suspected that it could be a suicide attack.
