11 devotees killed on way back from Rajasthan's Khatu Shyam temple in massive pick up-truck collision
PTC News Desk: In a tragic incident, at least eleven devotees killed and several others injured while returning from Khatu Shyam temple in Rajasthan. The accident occurred when a pick-up vehicle carrying pilgrims collided with a truck.
According to the reports, several people have been immediately referred to a hospital in Jaipur.
Responding to the incident, SP Sagar Rana said, “Information was received about devotees coming from Khatu Shyam temple who met with an accident and till now, 10 casualties have occurred. Nearly seven to eight people have been referred to SMS Hospital in Jaipur."
Taking to X, Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma expressed grief over the sudden loss of lives in the accident.
“The news of the loss of life in a horrific road accident in Dausa is extremely tragic. The district administration has been directed to ensure prompt and proper treatment for the injured. May God grant a place at His divine feet to the departed souls and provide speedy recovery to the injured," he wrote.
