Tragic accident in MP : 5 children killed, 2 critically injured as speeding tractor-trolley overturns in Jabalpur
Tragic accident in MP : In a tragic, dreadful and horrific accident, five children killed, two critically injured after tractor-trolley overturned in Madhya Pradesh's Jabalpur district on Monday.
The chilling incident unfolded in Tineta village in Chargaon Thana area of Jabalpur district when the driver of the tractor-trolley lost control and overturned.
The tragic incident unfolded when deceased were en route to fetch water, were struck by a speeding truck that lost control, resulting in the devastating accident.
These children, residents of the village were on their way to procure water for guests attending a wedding ceremony.
The deceased have been identified as Dharmendra Thakur (18 years old), Devendra Barkade (15 years old), Rajvir Thakur (13 years old), Anoop Barkade (12 years old), and Lucky Markam (8 years old). Those who have sustained injuries are Dalpat Thakur (12 years old) and Vikas Uike (10 years old).
In response to the dreadful accident, the district administration has announced financial assistance of ₹50,000 for the families of the deceased and ₹10,000 for the injured.
