Amit Shah forecasts India to become a $5 trillion economy by 2025 end at Investors' Summit
Dehradun, December 09: During the Uttarakhand Global Investors Summit - 2023, Union Home Minister Amit Shah highlighted the state's growth, envisioning a robust economy and progress under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership.
Addressing the summit's conclusion in Dehradun, Amit Shah emphasised the significance of MoUs worth Rs 3.5 lakh crore, symbolising Uttarakhand's promising future. He praised Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami's leadership, particularly citing his successful rescue of 41 trapped laborers during a tunnel incident, showcasing leadership qualities.
Shah credited former PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee for creating Uttarakhand, acknowledging PM Modi's transformative role, and now steering the state forward. He affirmed India's achievements under PM Modi's leadership, emphasising a targeted transition to a 5 trillion dollar economy by 2025, signifying unprecedented economic advancement.
Highlighting India's climate change efforts, Shah praised the nation's strides in various sectors under Modi's visionary guidance. He commended the government for uplifting millions from poverty, doubling per capita income, and driving significant agricultural growth. The home minister lauded India's entrepreneurial growth, exemplified by 110 unicorn startups and record-breaking FDI.
Shah underscored political stability, a corruption-free administration, and inclusive policies, highlighting Uttarakhand's unparalleled progress in infrastructure, governance, and policy-making. He emphasized Uttarakhand's role as a peaceful, corruption-free state with immense potential in tourism, services, MSME, logistics, IT, and AYUSH. Overall, Shah outlined India's remarkable advancements under PM Modi's leadership, reiterating a commitment to comprehensive development, transparency, and growth across sectors.
