CM Eknath Shinde meets Salman Khan days after firing outside actor's residence
PTC News Desk: In light of the firing incident outside Bollywood actor Salman Khan's house, Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde met with the actor on Tuesday at his residence in Mumbai's Bandra Galaxy apartments.
During the meeting, Shinde assured the actor of tight security and vigilance, and he stated that the police would take strict action in the firing case. "I told Salman not to worry because the government is behind him. I've asked the police commissioner to provide adequate security for Salman Khan and his family. The police will take strong action so that no one else will dare to do so," he said.

Salim Khan, a veteran screenwriter and Salman Khan's father, former MLA Baba Siddiqui, MLA Zeeshan Siddiqui, and Yuva Sena leader Rahul Kanal were also in attendance at the meeting.
The two accused in the firing incident were arrested earlier today by Gujarat police and handed over to the Mumbai Crime Branch. Vicky Gupta (24) and Sagar Pal (21) from Bihar were later presented before the court and ordered to be held in custody until April 25.
