Five-year-old girl dies on her way to hospital as BMW rams scooter
PTC News Desk: A five-year-old girl was killed and two other injured after a BMW rammed into scooter in Noida's Sector 20. According to police, the incident took place when Gul Mohammad was taking her daughter, Ayaat to a hospital for a medical checkup.
The police have arrested two people, the driver and the passenger in connection with the incident at Sector 20 police station under charges of rash driving and death by negligence.
An investigation is underway to determin he sequence of events and whether the accused were under the influence of alcohol at the time of the accident. Police have assured that the accused will face strict legal action.
The two were identified as Yash Sharma, 22, a resident of Sector 37 in Noida, and Abhishek Rawat, 22, a resident of Sector 70.
The police have also seized the vehicle bearing a Haryana registration number.
