PTC Web Desk: A woman was killed and three others were injured after a portion of a building collapsed in Mumbai during heavy rain on Saturday. Fire brigade officials reported that 13 persons have been rescued so far.

CCTV footage from a nearby shop captured the exact moment of the collapse. The incident occurred around 10:30 am near Grant Road Railway Station. While a section of the building collapsed, other parts were left hanging precariously. Rescue operations are ongoing to find survivors trapped under the debris.

Meanwhile, bus and railway services in Mumbai were disrupted on Friday due to heavy rainfall. Continuous rain with intermittent heavy spells caused waterlogging on some roads and railway tracks, slowing down public transport services.

Services on the Mainline of the Central Railway were delayed due to a technical glitch in a train engine, officials said. Western Railway stated that its suburban services were "running."

The Mumbai centre of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted moderate to heavy rains for the city.
